Conflicts and bullying
Conflicts are normal in human interaction and are often resolved through compromise. If a settlement is not possible and further escalation takes place, it can lead to bullying.
You can find helpful information on this here:
- Chamber of Labor
- Gesundheit.gv - Conflicts in the workplace
- Gesundheit.gv - Bullying in the workplace:
At universities, the bullying prohibitions of § 43a BDG 1979 and § 5 para 1 VBG must also be observed.
If a conflict or bullying incident also has aspects relating to gender, ethnicity, religion or ideology, age or sexual orientation, it is also a case of harassment and you are welcome to contact the AKGL.
Harassment and conflicts in connection with disability
The AKGL is not directly responsible for disability discrimination. However, it can also play a role in our work, especially if it occurs in combination with another discrimination issue for which we are explicitly responsible (gender, ethnicity, religion/belief, age, sexual orientation).
